Graffiti-Resistant Coatings
TWI manufactures a spray-applied, permanent, graffiti-resistant aliphatic polyurethane called KrystalKote, which is available in several versions. KrystalKote is considered an extremely durable elastomeric coating, as well as chemical-resistant, UV-resistant, fade-resistant, impact-resistant, and abrasion-resistant.

The most well documented version is called CTF, for CalTrans Formula. CTF is a gloss clearcoat, most often used to protect traffic signs, commercial signs, murals, monuments, artwork, vehicles, painted structures, etc. The California D.O.T. has tested and approved CTF in their Sacramento Transportation Laboratory, as well as multi-year field exposure. CTF is specified in current CalTrans overhead and shoulder-mount sign contracts. The City Of Las Vegas has spray-applied CTF to hundreds of STOPs and traffic control signs. The County of Los Angeles Parks Department spray-applies CTF to custom signage used for both local parks and remote trail locations. The Los Angeles U.S.D. spray- and roll-applies CTF onto school murals. Several cities use CTF on park murals, statues, fountains, and monuments.

KrystalKote is also available in standard colors of black, gray, white, Safety red, Safety blue, Safety green, Safety yellow, and bus chrome yellow. Factory custom color-matching is also available. TWI uses the nationally available 3-page Sherwin-Williams System 4000 Color chart as a color reference guide. KrystalKote finishes available are high-gloss, architectural low-gloss, satin and flat. The City of Los Angeles Street Department specifies CTF or KrystalKote High Gloss, bus chrome yellow on all new construction and street maintenance vehicles & trailers. The City of Los Angeles D.O.T. specifies CTF or KrystalKote low gloss beige on city-wide Communication Relay Stations. The County of Maui, the City and County of Honolulu specify KrystalKote on scores of recycling containers. All KrystalKote versions meet current and future E.P.A., South Coast A.Q.M.D. and Sacramento A.Q.M.D. VOC requirements.

Graffiti-Removing Cleaners
TWI manufactures two efficient, bio-degradable, and well respected graffiti-removers: GT-1000 and GT-2000. Both are well documented by independent laboratories as environmentally-safe and user-friendly . Both are certified, specified and/or purchased by CalTrans, the cities of Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Inglewood, Honolulu, etc., and the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Maui, Honolulu, etc. Del Taco food chain specifies and purchases GT-1000.
